The Washington Group (TWG) Cultural Fund

The Washington Group (TWG) Cultural Fund sponsors events which promote Ukrainian music, art and culture and acquaints the people in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area with Ukrainian arts.

The Washington Group is the largest Ukrainian-American professional organization in the United States. In addition to responding to the professional needs of its membership, itstrives to foster the best possible relationship between the United States and Ukraine.

The Washington Group Cultural Fund, in cooperation with the Embassy of Ukraine, sponsored a series of five concerts at the Rosslyn Spectrum Theatre during the 2000-2001 concert season to raise funds for the procurement of musical instruments for the Lviv Conservatory in Lviv, Ukraine.

Laryssa Courtney is president of the Fund and Chrystia Sonevytsky is director of the concert series.
