This set of postcards showing nine Soviet leaders is quite rare and was published in Lviv, Ukraine in 1940. This is a period just after the Soviets took control of Lviv and before the Germans invaded and took control.
The artist was V. V. Krychevokiy and the editor was S. Rayevskiy. State Publishing House Mistetstvo "Art" is printed on the postcards. The circulation was 25,000 sets, as least this is what is printed on the cards. The price was 15 Kopeks. Also printed on the postcards is: 2nd State Publishing House...Lviv, 1940.
