IVAN BALDUKHA
Ivan Baldukha was born in 1954 in
the Vynnytska Oblast in the village of
Slobodyshche.
From 1975 to 1980, he studied in the
art studio at the Palace of Culture in Kyiv.
At the same time, he studied
privately in the studio of Victor Zaretsky.
In 1980, Ivan entered the Kyiv
State Art Institute, completing his studies in
painting with distinction in 1986.
His paintings hang in the galleries of
ten different countries, and in 1997 a documentary film was made about him.
Presently, he is painting religious
murals on the walls of St. Nicholas
Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Coopers
City, Florida, USA.
He works primarily in the area of
religious art and has painted over 2500
icons.
