HOLODOMOR WEEK IN KYIV, UKRAINE
In Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Millions of Victims
of the Genocidal Famine in Ukraine 1932-1933 (Holodomor),
November 21 through November 29, 2003
Friday, November 21--10 a.m.--The official cancellation ceremony
for the new holodomor stamp issued by Marka Ukrainy will be held
in the main hall of the Central Post Office, Independence Square,
Kyiv, Ukraine.
Friday, November 21--5:30 p.m.--Official opening of the Genocidal
Famine (Holodomor) 1932-1933 Art Exhibition, "To the Dead, and
the Living and the Unborn" large exhibition hall, first floor, Ukrainian
House, Khreschatyk Street 2, Kyiv, Ukraine. Exhibition is free of
charge.
Saturday, November 22--Official Day of Commemoration in Ukraine
to honor the 70th anniversary of the millions of victims of the genocidal
famine (holodomor) in Ukraine 1932-1933.

Exhibition, "To the Dead, and the Living and the Unborn" large
exhibition hall, Ukrainian House, Khreschatyk Street 2, Kyiv, Ukraine.
The exhibition is free of charge.
The Exhibition will feature over 100 famine related artworks created
from 1921 through 2003. There will be paintings, illustrations, linocuts,
poster art, stamp art, postcard art, graphics, and other art forms. The
art collection is being assembled on behalf of the Public Committee
by the www.ArtUkraine.com Information Service (ARTUIS).
