KYIV, Ukraine........In compliance with the Ukrainian President's decree on
additional steps to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the 1932-1933 famine
and the Cabinet's relevant resolution, the Ministry for Culture and Arts,
the Kyiv City-Hall, in conjunction with the State Committee of Ukraine for
Construction and Architecture, have announced a contest for the best
monument to commemorate the millions of victims of the Bolshevik
totalitarian regime-masterminded devastating famine, which was meant for
exterminating Ukrainian peasants.
