Lviv. September 18. UNIAN. It is planned that the monument to Stepan
Bandera will be opened in Lviv in a year. It was discussed at the
yesterday's sitting of the organizational committee for building of the
monument to OUN leader.
As UNIAN has learnt from the press-service of Lviv Oblast Council,
deputy chairman of Lviv Oblast council, chairman of Lviv oblast organization
of Social National Party of Ukraine Andry Parubiy pointed out during the
sitting that the Oblast Council and its leadership will do everything for
the financing of the project.
In addition, the queue of the following stages of work for building and
placement of the monument to Stepan Bandera was determined at the sitting.
Thus, a model of the monument, which must be approved by the organizational
committee, will be made till November 15.
The project provides a reconstruction of surrounding, which is the most
expensive and long-term part of the project.
At the same time, the press-service of Lviv Oblast council points out that
the opening of the monument to Stepan Bandera is possible in a year only
under very favorable conditions.
