Khay/Fedynskyj Ukrainian Folk Music Tour

KYIV - It is with great honor and privledge, that I would like to announce
the upcoming concert/lecture tour of my friend and mentor, Dr. Mykhailo
Khay. Dr Khay is the leading professor of Ukrainian ethnomusicology,
ethnoorganology, and kobzarology at the National Academy of Music, in
Kyiv, Ukraine.

Dr. Khay is well known in Ukraine and abroad for both his scientific
research, as well as his reproduction of authentic Ukrainian instrumental
folk music and the Lirnyk tradition.

We are presently planning to visit many cities across northern America and
Canada, especially New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Pittsburg,
Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, Saskatoon, and
Winnipeg, as well as many points in between. The tour will take place in
August and early September of this year.

I would like to invite anyone interested in hosting an evening of Kobzar
music, folk music, and/or presentation/lecture on authentic Ukrainian folk
