Museum of Folk Architecture and Folkways of Ukraine
Pyrohova's Autumn Fair 2000

The first weekend in September in Kyiv this year was very cool and wet. Unfortunately this was the weekend for the Pyrohova Autumn Fair held at the outdoor Museum of Folk Architecture and Folkways of Ukraine near the village of Pyrohova.

The rough weather kept the crowd down but the folk artists and musicians were there showing their outstanding works and performing their music. Many of the artists were from the Opychnya area and were showing their find ceramics.

Photograph shows some of the folkcrafts there were on sale.
