Here, in lovely harmony, are Ukrainian and English lyrics to the Ukrainian koliady, so that those who do not understand Ukrainian can learn what the koliady are about. The lyrics alternate, Ukr. and Engl. in each carol. Bilingual lyrics included. Also bandura accompaniment on some koliady

The cover painting by Irka Kozelko is beautiful.

(7) Vesnivka (Toronto)--

(8) Boyan Choir of Kyiv (men's)--

(9) Dr. Eve Pip's "Pictures from Another Place" -- piano music composed and performed by her.

Not a Christmas one, but would make a lovely gift (I lent mine to a coworker, then decided to give her one as a Christmas present, because she really did not want to return my CD!, she liked it so much)

It's sort of classical music, very melodic and relaxing, with a hint of Ukrainian harmonies, really lovely.

e.pip@uwinnipeg.ca ,  it's $15.

We're fortunate that we have such beautiful music as our heritage, and so many talented people performing it.

Yevshan and the Ukrainian Bookstore in Edmonton also have these and many more.  http://www.yevshan.com/index.asphttp://www.ukrainianbookstore.com/
