The Eastern Economist was launched
in February of 1994 by Lidia Wolanskyj through Matlid Publications,
Inc. The Eastern Economist was the first English-language business
weekly with a mission to provide objective and in-depth information
on the business environment through economic, political, legal and
other analysis. The publication has been expanded and now includes
the EE Daily which is sent daily by e-mail and fax in Ukraine and
by e-mail throughout the world. One is always up- to-date with the
EE Daily. The Eastern Economist weekly is a printed publication
that includes outstanding news stories, in-depth articles, analyis
and feature stories.

from around the world who are interested in Ukraine, give the publication
high marks. The EE is a major source of in-depth reporting about
what is happening in Ukraine. www.ArtUkraine.com
