The Virsky Company performed their concerts in over 60 countries of the world. Rene Cervine, the world's famous French critic and fine
arts expert expressed his opinion in "La Figueroa" as follows:
"........If the show, which is necessary to see without any objections
exists, this show in the Virsky National Dance Company of Ukraine, the
wonderful team combining beauty, virtuosity and enjoying of
life........"
This magnificent artistic group seems to have embraced the beauty of
their native Ukraine, the wisdom of its people as well as the folk
tradition of humor and optimism. They are content in just displaying
their regional traditions from the Carpathian mountains to the heroic
history of the Cossacks keeping narrative and plot to a minimum.
DVD contains the world known compositions "My z Ukrainy" (We are from
Ukraine), "Povzunets" (Crawler), "Zaporozhtsi" (Zaporizhia Cossacks),
one of the most stirring dances, and the pearl of the concert - the
famous Ukrainian "Hopak"
