Set of 21 color posters from the Ukrainian Education and Commemoration Collection Kyiv, Ukraine, 2006 (In Ukrainian and English)
The term "Holodomor" was coined from the Ukrainian noun "holod"(hunger, starvation, famine) and verb "moryty" (to cause to be wasted, to kill). As a result of Holodomor 1932-33 the Ukrainian Soviet Republic lost, according to various estimates, up to 10 million people, overwhelmingly ethnic Ukrainians.
Because the posters are true testimony of Holodomor 1932-33 in Ukraine, they will give the opportunity for present and future generations to learn about the biggest tragedy in Ukraine's history.
The posters reproduced are of a smaller size than the originals and have louvers for strings. The set includes 20 laminated posters of A3 format and one poster of A2 format. The posters were created by Ukrainian artists and the artists of Ukrainian origin.
Prints of the posters are available through ArtUkraine.com at $100, postage included. Individual larger copies of A2 size are available at $30 per piece.
All checks, money orders, etc. should be in U.S. dollars and
made out to Morgan Williams. Please mail all items to:
